Nicholas was nominated for Distinguished Diver by Cailey & Brandi Purswell, Avery & Marra Francis, and Mia & Maria Hernandez for being a great team support at AAU Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was there everyday supporting his teammates, congratulating them on a job well done, and cheering them up when they were disappointed.
He also took it upon himself to keep the parents in the stands informed on their diver's progress.
His coaches describe him as: smart, studious, good-hearted, talented, & popular.  Coach Tommy says he senses ambition in his training and enjoys coaching him.  All his teammates like him.

How long have you been diving?  About 2 years
How did you start diving?  I hurt my knee in gymnastics and my coach (Ryan) suggested diving.
What do you like most about diving?  Standing on the podium after you     have done well.
What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as an athlete? Getting a Silver Medal on Platform at AAU 2014 Diving Nationals. 
Describe an embarrassing athletic moment:  I failed a dive on 1 meter at Nationals because I came out too soon.
What are your other hobbies and interests?  I want to travel and do anything adventurous.  I want to cliff dive and sky dive.
Who is your hero and why?  Greg Louganis, because he is a role model for divers.
Who is your biggest fan?  My Grandma
What is your favorite thing?  My phone
Liz was nominated for Distinguished Diver by Heidi Root, Cailey Purswell, and Avery Francis for being a great role model and supportive team mate.
She works hard at every practice and has a wonderful attitude.  She also supports her team mates and is there for them if they do good or bad.
Her coaches say: "Since day one of Liz's diving, she has been a role model for the divers and the coaches.  She represents hard work, dedication, she makes corrections on dives, and does her diving homework drills.

How long have you been diving?  1 1/2 years
How did you start diving?  I hurt my back in gymnastics and it wasn't fun anymore. My brother's swim coach saw me tumbling and told my mom about a dive team that might interest me once I got tired of gymnastics. I decided to give diving a try. My mom contacted Coach Tommy and I've been diving ever since.
What do you like most about diving?  The family environment and friendly people.
What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as an athlete?  I placed 1st in my first meet. 
Describe an embarrassing athletic moment:  Walking into the boys' locker room was pretty traumatizing.
What are your other hobbies and interests?  My hobbies are: Crafts, reading, and swimming.  I like to play with my pets, jump on my trampoline, and save animals.
Who is your hero and why?  My parents and my brother. My Dad came to this country and worked hard to be successful. My mom earned her PhD and took care of the family at the same time. My brother got into West Point. But what I love most about them is that they love me no matter what, unconditionally.
Who is your biggest fan?  My Family
What is your favorite thing?  My Pets, but they are not things!
